Rollouts (Deployments)

A rollout or deployment is the term that refers to the process of making an application work on a target device.

There can be 'x' environments in which a deployment can happen. The most commonly used are:

• Development/Integration (Int)
• Pre-Production (PPE)
• Production (Prod)

A rollout can happen gradually (per Region/DC(s), per Ring, etc.)

A Ring is a set of one or more DataCenters distributed geologically.
